Spinning for Rookies

Our instructors will coach and inspire you to find self-motivation through a mind/body connection and exhilarating music that will beg your legs to pedal through flats and hills. Class is geared for beginning participants, although all levels are welcome as everyone works at their own pace. Registration through OOB/Saco Adult Ed only. Bring water, a towel and enjoy the ride!

Note: First timers, please arrive 15 minutes before your first class for bike setup instructions.

Paula Truman, is a NE Ladies Racquetball Champion 1993-2008, ME Racquetball Hall of Famer and certified Spinning instructor. She has been teaching for many years and works with beginners to seasoned athletes.

Yoga in Your Chair

This gentle yoga class offers all the benefits without the need to get up and down from the floor. Yoga postures are adapted for practicing seated or standing, using a chair for support when needed. You will be guided through postures, breathing and relaxation techniques with a focus on releasing tension, improving flexibility and creating mindfulness. All levels welcome, no prior experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement and bring an extra layer. No class 11/28.

David Campbell holds Yoga Alliance RYT 200 and additional certifications in on-chair and off-chair yoga. He teaches at Samudra in Saco and believes the benefits of yoga should be available to everyone.

T’ai Chi Level I

Janet Spiegel, RYT-200 Fluid Yoga, began practicing yoga a decade ago. Her practice/teachings honor the balance between energetic movement and peace and her goal is to support students as they make discoveries about themselves through freedom in body, mind and spirit.

Samurai Fitness

Want to learn to use a sword or fight with a light saber? Begin with a few exercises and stretches to prepare for moving and jumping through a series of obstacles while utilizing a wooden training sword and learning basic sword techniques. This class has been referred to as "Cross Fitness Training with Crossing Swords". Wear loose clothing and prepare to "Get Samurai Fit"! No class 2/20.
