Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult Education

Registrants should have little to no experience in a formal golf setting. The instruction will identify core aspects of the golf grip, stance, and swing. We will cover putting, chipping, and full swings with irons and fairway metals. There will also be an introduction to golf etiquette and golf specific terminology, so that players become more comfortable as they begin their journey in golf. Instructor(s) will monitor applied practice and instruct individuals accordingly throughout the sessions. Rain date 9/19.

Required: Golf clubs, sneakers/golf shoes, and collard shirts. NO jeans, gym shorts, or T-shirts.

Ryan Mondor is an OOBHS alum with 20+ years of experience in the golf industry, with time spent in Southern Maine and Northern California. He is the Director of Player Development at Biddeford-Saco CC, where he works with golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Brogan Kane, born and raised in Scarborough, played four years of Varsity golf before going to USM for economics. He played five years, serving as a captain for two, and participated in 34 events for USM. He joined the staff at Biddeford-Saco CC as an assistant golf professional and is enrolled in the PGA of America's Associate Program.
