Intro to Kung-Fu for Adults

Sifu Steve Mulloy opened Nine Tigers Kung-Fu to bring the same quality martial arts training that he received as a kid to Biddeford. He began training at Michael Macaris Kung-Fu Academy, and for the past 20 years, Kung-Fu has become more than an art form or about self-defense; it has become a way of life. It is his passion where he can express himself and help bring out the best in others.

Yin Yoga

This slow-paced, meditative practice holds poses for 3 to 5 minutes, with the focus on relaxing the muscles and stretching parts of the body rich in connective tissues. Postures may be held in seated or lying down positions. This calming and balancing practice supports joint flexibility, reduces stress and increases energy. No experience necessary.

Required: Proof of registration, masks & distancing. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing; bring a yoga mat, yoga blocks, a bolster of some sort (couch pillows work) and a blanket.

Jessy Barker is a 500 hour Certified Yoga Instructor with years of experience teaching several movement modalities. Her concentration is in meditative Belly Dance, Yin, Hatha and Chair yoga. She is also a certified meditation teacher through ShivaShakti school of Yoga and Healing Arts.
