DIY Holiday Card Kit

When you can’t give someone a hug, send them a card! And what says you care more than a homemade card?
Receive a DIY card kit that includes nearly everything you need to make three cards: a card base precut and scored, coordinating papers, a decorated envelope, all images pre-stamped, with die-cuts and sentiments. Each card will come with a blank sentiment piece should you wish to put a different sentiment on the card. All you need is your favorite adhesive, markers or colored pencils, scissors or Exacto knife.
Holiday kit includes 3 cards:
1 formed out of 12 squares of holiday paper to form a quilt with “happy holidays” mounted on a circle with twine
1 with three penguins carrying gifts with “Merry Christmas” mounted below
1 snow design embossed on the card base with instructions for making the remainder of the front of the card into a braid with the paper provided.
An extra template will be included so that you can make more braided cards on your own.
Also included are instructions, illustrations of completed project and the instructor's email.
Ordering closes at noon 11/13 and your kit should arrive within one week from this date. Fee includes shipping costs.

Learn about down payment and closing cost assistance available to first-time homebuyers, veterans and others.
Earn a Certificate of Completion required for certain mortgage programs, including USDA, ME State Housing Authority and other lenders. Free individualized counseling is available following the class. Please have pen and notepad available. Registration closes at noon on 11/12.
Required: You must respond to the email from YCCAC to finalize registration in order to take the class.

A notary’s primary duty is to formally witness transactions involving paper documents and, in Maine, officiate at weddings. Prepare to be commissioned as a notary public, learn the history of the office, its powers and duties, eligibility, procedures and record-keeping. Applicants must be residents of ME or NH residents who are regularly employed or carry on a trade/business in ME. Leave with the testing and paperwork ready to submit to the State. License is approximately $50 and is valid for seven years.
