This slow-paced, meditative practice holds poses for 3 to 5 minutes, with the focus on relaxing the muscles and stretching parts of the body rich in connective tissues. Postures may be held in seated or lying down positions. This calming and balancing practice supports joint flexibility, reduces stress and increases energy. No experience necessary. No class 5/31.
Required: Bring proof of registration. Masks and distancing. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat.Chani Cochrane, Yoga Alliances certified with 200 hours, began exploring her own yoga practice after a long career in massage therapy and kids yoga. She believes in the healing powers of breath and movement and the community connection that a yoga family provides.
