A slow-paced, meditative practice where poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes, with the focus on relaxing the muscles and stretching parts of the body rich in connective tissues. This calming and balancing practice supports joint flexibility, reduces stress levels and increases energy. No experience necessary. Postures will be held in seated or lying down positions. Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat.
Janet Spiegel, RYT-200 Fluid Yoga, began practicing yoga a decade ago. Her practice/teachings honor the balance between energetic movement and peace and her goal is to support students as they make discoveries about themselves through freedom in body, mind and spirit.
