Paint more loosely and expressively in watercolor! Flowers are a great subject when seeking to paint intuitively and fluidly. Explore the practice of techniques that will strengthen your painting skills including: observation & editing, positive and negative painting, textural effects, glazing, wet-into-wet painting and color mixing. Wrap it all up by painting a flower arrangement using the techniques learned in class as well as improvisational techniques as you develop your own personal style. No class 2/17.
