Tussie Mussies

with Amy M Witt

The Art of Talking Bouquets

Tussie mussies are small bouquets made of fresh flowers and herbs. Popular in Victorian times, they were used as a means of communication. Learn about their history and meaning while creating your own bouquet to take home. Bring flower snips to class if you have them. Tuition includes all materials.

Amy Witt, formerly with UME Cooperative Extension, is an educator and horticulturist developing educational programs and events in ME for many years. She is the founder/director of Earth Walkers, in Cape Elizabeth, that provides nature-based educational programs, events and consulting services.
