Street Photography Workshop

with Eric Holsinger

Find the courage and skill to photograph strangers in public!

Before we hit the streets, Eric will share information about this style of photography. Discover what street photography is and how to observe and make shots on the move while opportunities swirl around you. Learn how to gain the confidence to photograph people and accept situations outside of your comfort zone. Intended for photographers who already maintain an understanding of the craft and are interested in expanding their approach to street photography. Summertime in OOB presents many opportunities for photographing a variety of people.

Required: Masks and distancing. Proof of registration. Bring a digital or film camera or a camera phone, wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothes.

Note: Parking fees vary, with many private lots offering all day parking for a flat rate. There is a municipal lot at 76-98 Milliken St. Metered parking is not recommended.

Eric Holsinger became interested in photographing the public when he began contributing to's Seen Photoblog in 2013. He shoots formal portraits of strangers on the street and has an ongoing urban landscape project: @SacoLikeTaco.
