Street Photography Workshop

with Eric Holsinger

Street photography is often intimidating for photographers. Find the courage and skill to photograph strangers in public!

Before we hit the streets, some basics of approaching this style of photography will be covered; unspoken “rules” of street photography, composing artistic shots on the move, shooting more and worrying less. The key in this fast paced class is to increase your confidence in taking photos of people and situations outside of your comfort zone. Intended for photographers who already maintain an understanding of the craft and are interested in gaining courage and expanding their view into the realm of street photography.

Required: Bring a camera, comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothes.

Optional: iPad.

Eric Holsinger became interested in photographing the public when he began contributing to's Seen Photoblog in 2013. He shoots formal portraits of strangers on the street and has an ongoing urban landscape project: @SacoLikeTaco.
