Intro to Gouache Painting

Explore this beautiful, opaque water-medium to create expressive paintings! Gouache is an underutilized and versatile medium for sketching, studies and finished fine art works. Learn to mix, layer and balance transparent and opaque washes. Masks and distancing required.
Required: Pencil, eraser, four sheets of watercolor paper (8' x 10" inch or larger), four tubes of gouache paint: alizarin crimson, ultramarine, lemon yellow and titanium white, one 1/2" flat watercolor brush, one #10 round watercolor brush (approx. $25 at Michael’s or Amazon).
