with Jennifer Ann Hayes
Have a horse-crazy child begging for you to buy his/her first pony? Kids are out of the house and you want some you time? Interested in leasing but do not know where to begin? Whatever the reason, leasing or owning a horse can be an amazing adventure! It can also be an experience that, at times, feels overwhelming and expensive. Classroom sessions are designed to educate individuals to the horse industry, what to look for in the ideal horse, the dos and donts when signing a lease, how to navigate sales ads, trainers, brokers, & auctions, how & when to incorporate your veterinarian, and when to sign on the dotted line or walk away. Handouts will be available.
Please bring a pen and notepad.
