DIY Sashiko Stitched Needlebook

These sweet little needlebooks make the perfect addition to any sewing kit!
Create a beautifully stitched book to hold all of your pins & needles! Learn the Japanese sashiko stitch and put it to good use in the creation of your unique needlebook! These handsewn books are a great way to use up all of your fabric scraps! Both beginners and advanced sewers will enjoy this course. Leave with one made-by-YOU needlebook!
All supplies to create one needlebook will be supplied by instructor.
Required: Masks and distancing. Bring proof of registration, any scraps of fabric you may want to incorporate into your needlebook, any tools you plan to house in your completed needlebook (for measurement) and a lunch, if you would like.
Note: Students who take BOTH DIY Sashiko Stitched Needlebook AND The Art of Japanese Shibori Dyeing classes will get an extra piece of fabric to dye and use in their needlebook class!
Kristen Bartlett was exposed to art at a very early age, inspiring her lifelong creative path. With schooling in drawing, oil painting, graphic design and photography, Kristen practices many forms of art and crafts.
