Chi Kung Level I - Spring

Chi Kung (pronounced Chee Gong) is a gentle exercise that relieves stress without straining joints, muscles or ligaments. Using graceful movements, combined with meditation, Chi Kung controls energy flow while increasing stamina and awareness. This ancient Chinese practice combines intentional, controlled breathing with movements to encourage the flow of chi (vital energy) in the body; elevate the immune system, release nervous tension and eliminate the buildup of stress -- important factors in maintaining optimal health. Wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes.

Mark Gerardi, studying and teaching martial arts for 25 years, is the founder of Samurai Fitness and member of the National Qigong Association. He is also a powerful energy healer with formal education in shiatsu, herbalism, EFT, KCR and reiki.
