Chi Kung (pronounced Chee Gong) is a gentle exercise that relieves stress without straining joints, muscles or ligaments. Using graceful movements combined with meditation, Chi Kung controls energy flow while increasing stamina and awareness. This ancient Chinese practice combines intentional, controlled breathing with movements to encourage the flow of chi (vital energy) in the body; elevate the immune system, release nervous tension and eliminate buildup of stress -- all important factors in maintaining optimal health.
