Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult Education

Come celebrate the real magic of the season and look closely at plants and local ecology with plant and bird hobbyist Laura Grover. Learn about the treasures of the Saco Heath and its woods on this very unique Wabanaki land as we take an easy stroll along the boardwalk. Registration closes at noon on 10/18.

Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Meet in the Saco Heath parking lot. Walk begins promptly at 3:15pm. Rain date 10/27.

Laura Grover is a plant and bird hobbyist, botanical illustrator for Fedco Seeds, and a mindfulness ambassador. She has led many plant identification and mindful foraging walks for people of all ages. She enjoys bringing people together to look closely in nature, practice mindfulness outside, and be a sensory animal in the woods.
