Introduction to Spray Can Art
Lurking beneath this relatively generic sounding title, and differing considerably to graffiti which appears on the sides of buildings, Aerosolgrafia takes the viewer on a surreal and mind-bending journey. This other-wordly art form originated in Mexico in 1982. Learn to create Fine Art using spray paints, crumpled paper and common household materials through the magical aerosolgrafia technique. Tuition includes all other materials.
Required: A few can/jar lids (3-8Ó across), soft kitchen sponges and Rustoleum 2x Spray Paint in: Gloss black and white, Brilliant Blue, Meadow Green, Gloss Apple Red and Gloss Sun Yellow. Wear clothing to paint in. All paints can be found at Home Depot (approx. $20-25).
