Learn a few line dances to bust out when a line dancing opportunity presents itself or simply because you want to try something new! Discover classic country line dances and popular Latin rhythms, including rumba, cha cha, salsa and more, in this fun, energetic class! Specific music and pattern requests will be taken the first night and taught whenever possible. All levels welcome! No partner required. Wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. No class on 2/20.

Skip the pizza delivery and serve up some fantastic homemade pizza! Join Chef Mary and learn to make pizza dough and a savory sauce from scratch! Yes, frozen dough is convenient, but there is nothing like homemade dough for unbeatable flavor and texture. Discover how a few simple, easy-to-find ingredients can quickly turn into a scrumptious meal. Add your favorite toppings to make a one-of-a-kind flavor experience! This dough is great for pizza, calzones, and stromboli. This is a demonstration class, however, students are welcome to either watch or put on an apron and get their hands dirty. Recipes provided. Bring an apron, baggies for leftovers, and your appetite!

Mary Bailey, pastry chef and past owner/chef of Thyme and Honey Bakery in Biddeford, is passionate about baking bread and teaching people how to incorporate homemade bread into their daily lives.

Enjoyable and simple to learn, single-time East Coast swing is entertaining for dancers of any age. Pick up the fundamentals and build your repertoire while learning numerous turns and additional steps. Develop the self-assurance you need to get out on the dance floor and show your stuff! Course fee is per couple and we will not be changing partners in this class. Wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. No class 2/20.

Steve McGrath is a professional freelance photographer and teacher with 25 years of experience. His love of the great outdoors led him to his true passion—nature photography. Steve was an active member of the Gateway Camera Club for many years and has won many ribbons and awards at fairs and competitions through the group and on his own. Many of his images have been published in school textbooks.

Beginner Collage

Explore fundamental collage techniques to create your own artwork! Create your own collection of collage papers with a focus on using two main techniques to add color and patterns: stamping and crayon rubbings. Then, put those papers to use making collages to display or share with others. Play creative collage games to generate ideas and then create a collage that celebrates what brings us joy. Leave the course with a collection of papers for future projects as well as a few small collages. All materials provided. Please wear appropriate clothing to work with paint.

Sara Ottomano has more than 10 years of experience teaching art classes. She enjoys encouraging others to play with materials, explore sustainable artmaking practices, and create stories together.

Then, using the makeup and small mirror you bring, she will teach you makeup application techniques to enhance your features.

Candace Sanborn is a personal stylist and owner of Radiant Image in Auburn. She teaches women how to look and feel good about their appearance by dressing for their coloring, body type, and face shape. Candace provides personalized color palettes and clothing portfolios to make shopping easier and more focused, which saves money and results in more outfits with fewer pieces because clothes mix and match!

Wire Wrapped Sea Glass Jewelry

Combine found materials with metal and learn easy wire-wrapped loop techniques to create your own unique jewelry. Bring your own sea glass or choose from instructor's collection. Leave with a completed piece reflecting your creative design and resources to continue making similar jewelry at home. Registration closes at noon on 2/24.

Jessica Muise, a multidisciplinary artist and educator has been teaching and making art throughout New England for the last 15 years. She is passionate about using the arts as tools for social change and serves as a consultant to artists, nonprofit organizations, and coalitions for social change.
