The often aggressive nature of conventional cancer treatments can leave patients with nausea, vomiting, intense fatigue, joint pain, lymphedema, increased anxiety and depression. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine has much to offer to mitigate side effects, alleviate pain, boost energy and immunity, and support a positive outlook. Acupuncture can be a great adjunct treatment for cancer patients and survivors during and after active treatment and ongoing to lower the risk of reourrence. Take it from a practitioner who is a breast cancer survivor herself! This class is mostly for cancer patients and people in their support network.

Meret Bainbridge, L.Ac, owner of Acupuncture by Meret in Saco, is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified Chinese herbalist. She has 22 years of experience and is a two-year breast cancer survivor.
